Ma’aden has renewed an agreement to supply phosphate fertilizers for the year 2022/23.

Fox River Resources Corp. has given an update on a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) study for the company’s 100% owned Martison phosphate project, located near Hearst, Ontario, Canada.

An automated system for seismic monitoring has been installed at the Oleniy Ruchey underground mine in Russia to improve mining safety and efficiency.

The project schedule remains on track for commissioning in December 2021, with first phosphate rock ore exports expected in 1Q22.

The terminal is equipped with a 15 000 m2 under-roof facility, a 40 000 t storage capacity, a 2400 tpd blending capacity, an annual bagging capacity of 10 million, and a total production capacity of 360 000 tpy.

Following the resumption of sulfuric acid supply, the Conda phosphate business in Idaho, US, has returned to full production capacity.

The disruption in supply is a result of the smelter at Rio Tinto's Kennecott mine shutting down on 21 September 2021 following a release of molten copper materials.

The solar power facility, which will supply 100% of Arapua's power needs, is expected to be commissioned within 5 months.

The announcement was made at a meeting at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Moscow.

The project will have an initial estimated investment of approximately US$2.4 billion during the first phase to develop a 2.5 million t fertilizer production unit, combining urea and NPK/NPS products.

The bulk sample is currently enroute to the International Fertilizer Development Centre headquarters in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, US, for blend and granulation optimisation, field, and greenhouse trials.

Wind damage to the Faustina and Uncle Sam facilities from the storm is expected to result in reduced production as repairs are completed over the next 8 to 9 weeks.

The company will make a US$25 million capital investment in the establishment of a Crystal Green fertilizer production facility in St. Louis City, US.

A 20 ha. commercial property has been secured at the Futila Industrial Zone.

The Serra do Salitre project in Brazil has an annual production capacity of approximately 1200 kt of phosphate rock.
