The Mosaic Company, a Brazilian fertilizer maker, has said that it will suspend production at its phosphate mines of Tapira and Catalão.

Argus Media is reporting that Australia-based fertilizer producer Incitec Pivot (IPL) will close its Portland, Victoria, single super phosphate (SSP) plant in May.
