Western Australia's Environmental Protection Authority has given a positive recommendation for the Mardie salt and potash project to the state's Minister for Environment.

A participation forum held earlier this month has concluded that the Fulda-Gerstungen rail project will not entail any restrictions for potash mining in Germany's Werra region.
