Mosaic celebrates contract partners at Contractor Safety Awards

The awards are held each year to highlight the critical role collaboration between Mosaic and the company’s contract partners plays in maintaining safe, healthy workplaces.

Together, the company's contract partners logged more than 12.2 million hrs across Mosaic’s North America operations in 2025, with safety as a shared priority throughout every task, shift and worksite.

“At Mosaic, safety is about how the work gets done, not just the outcome,” said Tom Wind, Director, Health and Safety – North America. “A job isn’t considered safe simply because no one was injured. It takes strong partnerships, disciplined execution, and shared accountability to stop if we cannot do it safely. Our coworkers and loved ones are counting on us.”

The Contractor Safety Awards recognise contract partner companies that demonstrate strong safety leadership and performance while working at Mosaic facilities. Eligible partners completed significant on-site work and met Mosaic’s established safety criteria, including reporting requirements and performance expectations with no significant incidents or injuries.

Awards were presented in the following categories:

• Safety workhorse: at least 100 000 hrs worked with no recordable safety incidents.
• Safety leadership: submission and completion of approved Risk Register Project(s) to proactively identify and address workplace safety risks.
• Safety performance: at least 2000 hrs worked with a low rate of recordable safety incidents per hours worked.

These recognitions reinforce that safety is most effective when it is built on strong partnerships, open communication and a shared commitment to protecting people. Mosaic is proud to work alongside contract partners who consistently demonstrate that safety is not just a requirement, but our most important priority.
