Sergei Pronin, who has run PhosAgro-Region since 2012, is now deputy CEO of PhosAgro. He is responsible for not only domestic and export sales strategy covering more than 100 countries, but also for PhosAgro’s marketing and logistics.
PhosAgro’s CEO, Andrey Guryev, said: “the Russian market, where we are the largest supplier of fertilizers, will always be our strategic priority. We have ambitious goals, such as increasing our domestic market operations and grow sales by at least 25% by 2020 in comparison with last year, having substantially widened our range of fertilizers, available facilities and services we offer.
“In 1H17, we managed increase domestic sales of mineral fertilizers and monocalcium phosphate by 20%, to more than 1.2 million t. Once again, this confirms the validity of our approach, to be close to the consumer through our well-developed marketing network.”
