EuroChem appoints new COO

Global fertilizer company EuroChem Group AG has announced that Dmitry Strashnov has been appointed Chief Operating Officer.

Strashnov will be based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Zug, Switzerland, and is tasked with the day-to-day running of the company’s global business and driving further expansion across the world. He will report to the Group CEO, Dmitry Strezhnev.

Strashnov previously served as CEO of Russian Post from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, he was the CEO and President of the Russian subsidiary of Tele2, and previously served as the CEO of Philips Consumer Electronics in Russia.

Strezhnev said: “At an exciting time of growth for EuroChem, we were looking for someone who would significantly strengthen our management team and we are delighted to have Dmitry Strashnov join as chief operating officer.

“His extensive experience and successful track record will enable him to make an important and positive impact on our company.”

Strashnov added: “I am thrilled to be joining EuroChem at this important time in the company’s development. I look forward to supporting EuroChem’s further growth and global expansion.”
