Phosagro reports increase in fertilizer production

According to Reuters, Phosagro has stated that its overall fertilizer production in 3Q17 is up 19% y/y to 2.1 million t.

Reportedly, this increase is supported by a 16% increase in the output of phosphate-based products to 1.7 million t.

Reuters also reports that the company’s production of nitrogen-based fertilizers in 3Q17 increased by 32% to reach 0.4 million t.

In addition to this, fertilizer sales in the quarter reportedly grew by 10% to reach 2 million t.
