Prayon has announced the publication of its Sustainability Report 2025, highlighting concrete progress on key indicators such as safety and environmental performance.

As part of its approach, Prayon has anticipated the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) by publishing a double materiality matrix. This forward-looking tool, expected to become mandatory by 2028, provides a clear view of how the Group’s priority actions impact both society and its financial performance.

Tangible results across key priorities in 2025

  • The frequency rate of accidents with lost time decreased by 30% across employees, temporary workers, and contractors, confirming the effectiveness of ongoing safety initiatives.
  • Nearly one third of raw materials now come from secondary sources, reinforcing Prayon’s commitment to circular economy principles.
  • Reduction of 11% of CO2 emissions by ton produced and in line with Prayon’s low-carbon trajectory for 2030 goals.

These results are supported by concrete industrial projects. Among them, the new SHMP production unit in Engis stands out, notably for its closed water loop system. The site was inaugurated in the presence of H.R.H. Princess Astrid.

Sustainability as a shared responsibility

In a global economic context marked by uncertainty and increasing competition, Prayon has emphasised that sustainability comes at a cost that must be collectively recognised. The Group calls on industry stakeholders to integrate sustainability criteria into purchasing decisions and fully acknowledge the value of responsible production.

At the same time, continued support from public authorities remains essential to maintain the pace of investment and innovation required for the transition.

These conditions are key for Prayon to continue its development as a global player combining sustainable industrial performance with strong local roots.
