The Fertilizer Institute names new President

Rosenbusch succeeds Chris Jahn, who left TFI in October to lead the American Chemistry Council.

“Corey’s strategic and entrepreneurial mindset will be a tremendous asset to TFI as it advocates for the safe, secure, and sustainable production, distribution and use of all plant nutrition products,” said TFI Chairman Tony Will. “His excellent track record at GCCA is indicative of the talents he brings to TFI.”

Before joining GCCA, Rosenbusch lived in Indonesia implementing a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) funded development project for The Borlaug Institute. Rosenbusch served as the National FFA President, representing the organization at state conventions and agriculture industry events.

Rosenbusch holds a degree in International Development from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education from Texas A&M University. He serves as Chair of the Small Business Legislative Council and past chair of the National FFA Foundation’s Individual Giving Council.

“As a former National FFA President and the son of an agricultural science teacher, I am excited to return to my agriculture roots,” Rosenbusch said. “Given fertilizer’s contribution to 50% of global food production and my 17 years in the food industry, I am excited to contribute a unique perspective to the story fertilizer plays in feeding the world.”
