PJSC Acron, a member of Acron Group, has won the ‘Exporter of the Year’ national competition established by the Russian Federation Government. The award is given to companies and individual entrepreneurs that are highly successful in non-resource and non-energy exports.
The competition is organised by Russian Export Center, a state institution supporting non-resource exports. The national award ceremony was held as part of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2019).
Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors Alexander Popov noted, “Acron Group has been successfully growing, showing an average production increase of 9% annually over the past five years and increasing sales both in Russia and overseas. Last year, we established subsidiaries in France and Brazil, and this year we launched direct sales of Acron’s mineral fertilisers in Argentina. Today, farmers in 67 countries worldwide use our products. By winning the Exporter of the Year award, we have demonstrated our success in promoting Russian products abroad”.
