Flour Mills expands investments in agriculture sector

The company claims that work on the proposed fertilizer blending plant, which is located at Kudenda in Kaduna state, has reached an advanced stage. The installation of the requisite machinery, as well as the freighting of raw materials and its attendant packaging to the factory sites ahead of production for the next planting season, has begun.
In the statement, Flour Mills also claims that, through some of its subsidiaries, taking part in the on going FMARD’s bid for tenders for silo complexes. Despite the fact that FMARD is yet to communicate the final dates when agreements will be executed, the company informed that it has been awarded concessions for three of the silos, subject to the execution of agreements with FMARD.
