On 21 March, the signing ceremony of the government procurement project in the planning and project production and operation plan of Dinghu Modern Agricultural Industrial Park was held in the Agricultural Bureau of Dinghu District, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. Mr Jun Ye, director of investment management center of Kiwa Bio-Tech, Mr Ruiquan Xiong, deputy general manager and senior agricultural economist of the Institute of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Mr. Wei Qiu, director of the Agricultural Bureau of Dinghu District, attended the ceremony and signed the contract on behalf of the three parties.

The project of the Dinghu Modern Agricultural Industrial Park covers an area of approximately 5994 ha., including Shapu Town, Yong’an Town, Lianhua Town and Guangli Street under the jurisdiction of Dinghu District. The signing of the contract not only marks the recognition of Kiwa’s microbial core technology and eco-friendly agricultural marketing model by the Guangdong provincial government, but also marks the extension of Kiwa’s microbial technology application from the very mature planting industry to the multi-billion dollar aquaculture industry.

According to the requirements of the Agricultural Bureau of Dinghu District and the production and operation plan of the project of Dinghu Modern Agricultural Industrial Park compiled in the bidding documents, Kiwa Bio-Tech will continue to participate in the investment, construction, production and operation of the project after completing the overall planning of the park as required in the tender.

Kiwa’s water purification and water-cleaning bacteria, boutique spores and Duolijunbao products have the functions of purifying and optimising water quality, regulating microorganisms, and preventing diseases and promoting growth of aquatic products. During the implementation of the project of Dinghu Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, Kiwa will look to build a 'Modern Agricultural Industrial Park with the whole industrial chain of eco-friendly aquatic products' by providing a new model of eco-friendly aquaculture for the aquaculture industry in Dinghu District.

Mr Yu, the general manager of operation centre, states that “Kiwa’s microbial core technology and new products will not only provide scientific and reasonable implementation plans for the aquaculture industry of Dinghu District, but also provide strong support for the healthy development of the national aquaculture industry.”
