Acron Group, a leading mineral fertilizer producer in Russia and globally, presented its innovative solutions for Russian agricultural producers at the Russian Golden Autumn trade fair.

The Group, for the first time, displayed agricultural solutions applied by its Plodorodie Agribusiness Holding. Visitors were most interested in the aerial data collection technology, which offers automated soil analysis using camera-equipped drones. Drones provide multispectral imagery for cloud computing. Drones scout over the fields and independently return to the base for battery recharge. The footage is then analysed and compared with the database. All the information is stored in the database for subsequent analysis. The results of automated soil analysis are used for differentiated application of mineral fertilisers to the soil.

Acron offers expert solutions for differentiated fertiliser application for farmers whose equipment is not suitable for precision agriculture. Drone mapping helps identify norms for each field and optimise the rate of mineral fertiliser application.

Arkady Sverdlov, Head of Acron Department for Development and Implementation of Agrochemical Technologies, commented: “New technologies are completely changing the work of agricultural producers, making it simpler and more efficient. Introducing smart technologies in the agro-industrial complex helps optimise costs and improve profitability in the agricultural sector. Acron keeps up with the times by constantly investing in innovative solutions and offering them to Russian farmers”.

lexei Kuchin, Head of Plodorodie Automation and System Integration Department, spoke before business community about comprehensive approach to agro-industrial complex digitalisation: ALMA Strategy. The Company’s comprehensive innovative approach to its operations comprises four areas – Agronomy, Soil, Equipment and Automation. “Agricultural control allows us to monitor plant growing and prevent agricultural problems. Soil control is aimed at adjusting crop rotation and assessing agricultural land condition. Technical equipment monitoring helps minimise re-equipment costs. Process control includes process scheduling and in-depth data analysis. All the above-mentioned measures ensure improved profitability and efficiency of farming,” said Kuchin.
