Pivot Bio, an agtech company, has released its 2024 Impact Report showcasing record-breaking performance that delivered tangible value to American farmers and strengthened US supply chains.

The report, 'Why Now: Innovation at Work for America', demonstrates how Pivot Bio's breakthrough technology addresses farmers' pressing challenges, including creating higher and more-predictable outcomes, higher yields, and lowering input costs, in an increasingly volatile market environment.

In 2024, Pivot Bio's PROVEN 40 microbes delivered notable results for American farmers:

  • Yield parity maintained with 37+ lbs/acre nitrogen reduction across 172 fields in 97 counties in 20 states (the typical US corn farmer might use 160 - 200 lbs of synthetic nitrogen per acre).
  • 16% improvement in nitrogen-use efficiency compared to traditional fertilizer.
  • 25% price reduction combined with 0% financing to enhance farmer purchasing power. Making it cheaper than traditional fertilizer.
  • Nearly 500 new retail locations, which expanded farmer access to our products through trusted, local suppliers. "Farmers make the world a better place, and our job is to build more solutions and deliver opportunities for them," said Chris Abbott, chief executive officer of Pivot Bio. "Our biggest goal is to fundamentally improve crop nutrition. That's exactly what we're doing, bringing together more partners to serve farmers in a bigger, better way."
