Pinnacle appoints new Executive Vice President and CFO

Pinnacle Operating Corp. has released a statement announcing that Mark Pedro has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective 1 January 2018.

In his new role, Pedro will be responsible for leading the company’s financial operations, as well as providing overall strategic direction along with the CEO, Rob Marchbank.

Marchbank said: “Mark is an experienced and strategic financial leader with a robust background in distribution.

“The agriculture industry is in the midst of an evolution and Mark has a strong track record of transforming and developing industry-leading companies. I am very excited to add Mark to the Pinnacle leadership team. His combination of strategic and operational experience will ensure Pinnacle’s ability to drive improved profitable growth.”

Pedro has over 20 years of financial experience, with a background in financial planning and operations, management and strategy, and a deep knowledge of the distribution industry. Before joining Pinnacle, Pedro served as CFO of Sonepar, North America. Before Sonepar, he held a number of financial leadership positions across multiple industries, notably Nestle USA, Kraft Foods Inc. and Univar. Pedro received his bachelor’s degree in business economics and MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, US.
