Linde Engineering North America Inc. (LENA) has announced that it is scheduled to make two presentations at the AIChE Southwest Process Technologies Conference on 12 – 13 October.

The programme highlights core chemical process engineering topics and emerging disciplines. LENA claims that its process engineers will share their expertise at the conference. Rameshwar Hiwale, for instance, will present ‘The Linde Ammonia Concept (LAC™): Simplifying NH3 Production for Improved Economic Feasibility’.

Hazem Haddad, meanwhile, will present ‘The Effect of Errors in Relative Volatility, Enthalpy, Density and Surface Tension on Distillation Column Design’. In this this presentation, he will demonstrate how such errors can affect the number of stages, reflux ratio and column traffic – an area that is often overlooked.
