Changes made to Kropz management

Mr Jan Steenkamp has resigned as Managing Director of Kropz Elandsfontein. He will, however, remain on the board as a non-executive director. Mr Steenkamp will also remain in a technical advisory capacity for the ongoing development of the company’s projects, namely the Elandsfontein phosphate project located in South Africa and the Hinda phosphate project located in the Republic of Congo. Mr Steenkamp’s executive responsibilities will be assumed by the company’s Chief Operations Officer, Michelle Lawrence.
In addition, Kropz has announced the appointment of Mr Louis Swart as the Company’s Financial Manager. Mr Swart previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for Richland Resources Limited, and Financial Manager for both TanzaniteOne and Simmer & Jack Mines Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Pretoria and an Honours degree in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of South Africa. He is a member of both the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
The Chief Executive Officer of Kropz Mark Summers commented: “The Board and I would like to sincerely thank Jan for his significant contributions to Kropz Elandsfontein over the past two years. We are delighted that he will remain on the board as a non-executive director and look forward to his counsel in an advisory capacity as we continue to advance the Elandsfontein and Hinda projects. We would also like to welcome Louis to our team.”
