Potash Ridge Corp., a near term producer of premium sulphate of potash (SOP) fertilizer in North America, is engaging in a multi-faceted cooperative relationship with Migao Corp.

Migao will assist Potash Ridge in the development and operation of it’s Valleyfield SOP fertilizer project in Quebec Canada.

Migao, a leading SOP producer with 320 000 tpy of production capacity across China, has agreed to provide technical, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance support services to Valleyfield for its 40 000 tpy SOP project. Migao will be responsible to procure equipment sourced in China and provide performance guarantees on all such equipment.

Migao's technical, procurement, construction and commissioning support will complement Valleyfield's previously announced engineering programme through an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement.

"Having a partnership with Migao significantly de-risks the project from the design phase through to operations utilising their 20 years of development and operational expertise to ensure best of class design, construction, and operations," said Guy Bentinck, Potash Ridge's President and CEO. "We are fortunate to be able to benefit from the long-standing relationship between Migao and the founder of Valleyfield Fertilzer to ensure best of class technology for our Quebec-based project."
