The members of the Supervisory Board would like to thank Dr. Bethke for his excellent and always future-orientated leadership of the Board, which was characterized by his extensive knowledge and international experience as long-standing Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Company (1991 to 2007).

The Supervisory Board members have decided to propose Mr. Thomas Kölbl, Chief Financial Officer of Südzucker AG, to the coming Annual General Meeting as a new member of the Company’s Supervisory Board.
