Toyo Engineering receives fertilizer contract

Russia’s National Chemical Group recently contracted Toyo Engineering to work on a fertilizer production complex in Nakhodka, near Vladivostok.
A consortium led by Hyundai Engineering will work on the project.
Five plants are expected to be built in total: two 6600 tpd ammonia production plants, two 6000 tpd urea plants and one 3000 tpd methanol plant.
Toyo will procure materials for the ammonia plant.
A formal contract is expected to be written in 2017, and there is speculation that the order could total approximately US$937 million.
