Riva, after holding a number of managerial positions at Stadtwerke Leipzig and STEAG GmbH, most recently served as Head of Communications for thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG.
In her new role, Riva will report to Burkhard Lohr, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at K+S Aktiengesellschaft.
Public Affairs remains part of Corporate Communications and will, in future, be the responsibility of the former Head of Corporate Communications, Oliver Morgenthal. K+S claims that as this area is becoming increasingly important for the company, Morgenthal will use his experience and contacts to further develop this field. In his new position, Morgenthal will report to Riva.
