Gensource Potash Corp. has released a statement announcing the results of its recent annual and special meeting of shareholders.

At the meeting, shareholders re-elected Michael Ferguson, Paul Martin and Calvin Redlick to the board of directors. Due to personal reasons, Mr. Ryan had withdrawn his consent to act as a nominee for the board of directors to be elected at the annual and special meeting held on 1 June 2018. In addition to this, the shareholders re-appointed MNP LLP, Chartered Accountants as auditors of the company for the ensuing year and authorised the directors to fix their remuneration. The shareholders also re-approved the company’s rolling stock option plan.

In the statement, Gensource claims that the holders of 129 652 477 (approximately 38.8% of the outstanding shares of the company) were present either in person or by proxy and voted at the meeting. The company also announced that after the meeting, the following individuals were re-appointed as officers of the company: Michael Ferguson, President and CEO; Robert Theoret, CFO; and Deborah Morsky, VP Corporate Services and Corporate Secretary.
