World Fertilizer,
In recent years, Kazphosphate has demonstrated sustained positive growth in the production volumes of key products, reaching record levels for the entire reporting period in 2025.
For example, ammonium phosphate production increased to 750 000 t, which is 58% higher than in 2024. In 2023, the company produced 593 000 t of this product, and in 2024, 474 000 t. The positive trend continued in 2026: in January, the company achieved a record monthly production volume of ammophos for the entire history of the company – 77 500 t.
Stable growth was also observed for sulfuric acid and tricalcium phosphate. In 2023, sulfuric acid production amounted to 166 000 t, and tricalcium phosphate production amounted to 11 000 t. In 2024, sulfuric acid production increased to 275 000 t, and tricalcium phosphate production increased to 17 000 t. In 2025, the company produced 346 000 t of sulfuric acid and 24 000 t of tricalcium phosphate.
It should also be noted that by the end of 2025, phosphate fertilizer production reached a record high for the last 32 years – 1.4 million t.
This growth is due to improvements in production and management processes, the introduction of technological improvements, and the coordinated work of the entire team. At the same time, work is underway to expand the product line. The company plans to launch the production of sulfoammonium phosphate, with the aim of strengthening its position in the domestic and foreign markets.
At the same time, the company faces external challenges: limited availability and significant price increases for sulfur and sulfuric acid, which are key raw materials for the production of phosphate fertilizers. This market situation is putting pressure on production costs, requiring the company to take additional measures in response.
Particular attention is paid to investment projects aimed at developing the production base and diversifying output. These include the construction of a new sulfuric acid plant with a capacity of 800 000 tpy in Taraz and a monoammonium phosphate (MAP 12:52) plant with a capacity of 1 million tpy in Zhanatas. Both projects play a key role in implementing the company's strategy to create a closed production cycle, meet growing demand, and increase the company's competitiveness and the export potential of domestic products on the world market.
Kazphosphate LLP is Kazakhstan's largest producer of phosphorus-containing products. The company employs approximately 3200 people. The company's activities are focused on geological exploration, mining and processing of phosphate fertilizer, and the production and sale of phosphorus-containing mineral fertilizers.
Kazphosphate plays an important role in Kazakhstan's chemical and agro-industrial sectors. The company provides farmers with a stable supply of fertilizers, reducing dependence on imports. In addition, the company exports its products to 15 countries around the world.
