World Fertilizer,

Koch Fertilizer’s Beatrice and Enid plants have earned 2020 ENERGY STAR® certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for superior energy performance.

Earning ENERGY STAR certification signifies the plants perform in the top 25% of similar fertilizer manufacturing facilities nationwide for energy efficiency and meet strict energy efficiency performance levels set by the EPA.

This is Beatrice’s second year to earn the ENERGY STAR and Enid’s first time to earn certification. Koch Fertilizer improved its energy performance by managing energy strategically across the entire organisation and by making cost-effective improvements to its plants.
