Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilizers (WesCEF) has announced the resignation of Managing Director, Tom O’Leary. He will now serve as CEO of Iluka Resources Ltd.

“Tom’s enormous contribution to Wesfarmers included playing very important roles in the integration of Hardwarehouse into Bunnings, following the takeover of Howard Smith Ltd, in 2000 and the acquisition of Coles Group in 2007”, commented Richard Goyder, Wesfarmers Managing Director.

“More recently, he has led the growth and improved the performance of our chemicals, energy and fertilizers business, including the completion of the major expansion for our ammonium nitrate production, within time and budget, and implementing a signification increased focus and improved performance in safety.”
