Petrokemija, Croatia, has temporarily halted production at its ammonia plant due to a technical failure.

The plant has been offline since Friday. Operations are expected to resume within 14 days.

The plant's temporary shutdown will not affect negatively end-consumers because the company has ensured sufficient supplies of mineral fertilizers to cover demand on the domestic and regional markets.

The company's other mineral fertilizer units are operating according to plan.
