Fact awards ammonia tender to Muntajat

Indian fertilizer importer Fact has awarded its 14 November tender to Qatari producer Muntajat at US$380/t cfr. The price is US$5/t lower than the previously purchased non-Iranian product.

Fact requested 4000 t of ammonia for delivery to Kochi on 6 – 10 December. An offer was also received from Trammo, but market participants said the company only offered for part of Fact's requirement.

A new tender has been issued for 7500 t (plus or minus 5%) of ammonia for delivery to Kochi between 29 December 2018 and 2 January 2019. The tender closes on 21 November, with bids to remain valid until 28 November.
