World Fertilizer,
This follows the news that WBN filed for insolvency at the end of December last year. This placed approximately 300 jobs in the district of Görlitz, Germany, at risk.
Together with WBN, K+S has developed an innovative bulk goods freight car designed for deliveries to fertilizer customers across Europe. The order is scheduled for completion at the end of this year, and means that K+S will account for a major part of the volume of orders placed with WBN.
In the statement, K+S claims that it will invest a figure in the low double-digit millions range in the construction of the freight cars.
