El Salvador has received 100 t of fertilizer from Morocco

The bilateral cooperation relations that the Government of President Bukele maintains with various international partners continue to bring benefits for the population and the development of key sectors of El Salvador.

One of these is precisely the agricultural sector, which will be enhanced with the contribution of a donation of 100 t of fertilizers delivered to El Salvador by the people and Government of the Kingdom of Morocco.

This collaboration is extremely important to increase the productivity of El Salvador’s fields, as well as to guarantee the food security of Salvadorans. Likewise, it reflects the solid ties of friendship and joint work that both nations are building.

"As you know, for President Bukele, agriculture is a key area and of great importance for national interests, therefore, we are extremely pleased with this donation, which will contribute to achieving the objectives set in agricultural matters in the country," said the Vice Minister of Foreign Relations, Adriana Mira, who participated as an honorary witness in the delivery of these supplies.

The diplomat stressed that this support is part of the cooperation framework that is in force with this country on the African continent, which is aligned with the development objectives of both states.

“Through the implementation of this initiative, we will be strengthening productive, professional and entrepreneurial skills in the agricultural sector. This contribution will also bring good results for our economy, it will improve crop yields and will allow for greater agricultural production,” said the Vice Chancellor of the Republic.

Similarly, he thanked the Kingdom of Morocco, a country that provides its support to El Salvador through financial and technical cooperation projects in different areas.

While the interim Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Óscar Guardado, said that this administration "is working to dignify our farmers" and that the fertilizers "will be taken to Salvadoran families that carry out agricultural production in our country, who guarantee safety food”.
