Acron and Haldor Topsoe sign green technologies MoU

Acron Group and Haldor Topsoe A/S have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop green technologies together.

The memorandum includes initiatives to design a process that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions (CO2 and N2O) at Acron Group’s existing production sites and to develop promising new products with minimum environmental impact. Acron Engineering, the Group’s research centre, will participate in the project.

Alexander Popov, Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors, said: ‘We are pleased to partner with Topsoe, a recognised industry leader in technology development’, Popov said. ‘We hope that our joint work will deliver ground-breaking solutions in green technology application, reducing our environmental footprint and improving the eco-efficiency of the Group’s facilities’.

Roeland Baan, President and CEO of Haldor Topsoe A/S, said: ‘We are excited by Acron’s commitment to join the pioneers in green technology research, development, and application. I am confident that together we will find the most efficient and advanced solutions for Acron Group’s companies to minimise greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the sustainable development of industry in Russia’, he said.
