Grupa Azoty expands its product portfolio with a new granular fertilizer

Fertilizer composition

The product is a universal fertilizer for preparing solutions intended for foliar plant nutrition. The new product contains 37% urea nitrogen (N), 6.5% magnesium oxide (MgO), and 12.8% sulfur trioxide (SO3) soluble in water. It is ideal for foliar feeding of cereals, rapeseed, corn, sugar beets, potatoes, grasslands, fruit trees, and shrubs. Foliar nutrition utilises a solution based on urea and magnesium sulfate, which is a proven method for quickly supplying plants with macronutrients and serves as a complement to soil fertilization.

More nitrogen, easier application

The fertilizer’s high nitrogen content aids farmers seeking maximum efficiency. In solution form, the product is rapidly absorbed by plant leaves. The naturally occurring urease enzyme in plant tissues converts nitrogen into an ammonium form that the plant uses for further growth. The urea in the working solution dissolves waxy substances covering leaf surfaces, facilitating the penetration of nitrogen and other nutrients into the plant. Through foliar feeding, plants can also absorb magnesium and sulfur, meeting a portion of their nutrient requirements.

Its water solubility also helps prevent sediment build-up and clogging in fertigation systems and sprayers, improving user convenience. The product dissolves completely without leaving any residue. It is suitable for foliar nutrition of all cultivated plants, including cereals, rapeseed, corn, and orchards.
