At the Seaport owned by Grupa Azoty Police, a historic shipment of 36 640 t of fertilizer was successfully loaded for transport to South America. This marks the first operation of its kind and scale in the history of the Police production facility.

The fertilizer, produced in Police, will be used in agricultural cultivation across South America, supporting the intensification of food production in the region.

The loading operation was carried out using the Group’s port infrastructure and maritime logistics capabilities. This milestone confirms Grupa Azoty’s ability to execute large-scale logistics operations at a top-tier level, opening new opportunities for exporting Polish chemical products to global markets.

The Group’s intensified sales efforts and expanded product portfolio have already delivered tangible benefits in the first quarter of this year. According to the recently published preliminary results, total sales volumes rose by 18% year-on-year, including a 22% increase in nitrogen fertilizer sales. Grupa Azoty emphasises that its top priority remains ensuring a stable supply of fertilizers for Polish farmers while simultaneously improving export performance.
