OCP Group, through its Strategic Business Unit Specialty Products & Solutions (SPS), and STATION F officially unveiled ChemTechxAI, the first-ever open innovation programme dedicated to deeptech and sustainable specialty chemistry.

This initiative introduces a new entrepreneurial track at STATION F, strategically designed to accelerate breakthrough solutions addressing critical global challenges, including energy transition, food security, sustainable agriculture, and industrial mastery.

ChemTechxAI enables selected startups to test, adapt, and scale innovative ideas, technologies and business models, supported by SPS’s extensive global network of industrial partners, researchers, and investors. This collaboration represents a unique opportunity to strengthen innovation ecosystems, attract PhD-level talents, and foster deeptech ventures at the world’s largest start up campus.

Abla Benkirane, Chief Transformation Officer of SPS, emphasised: “ChemTechxAI represents an important milestone in OCP Group’s commitment to addressing global challenges through sustainable innovation. Through SPS, we are proud to initiate this collaborative journey, leveraging specialty chemistry and artificial intelligence to deliver tangible and scalable impact for our businesses.”

The official launch event took place on 9 July 2025, at Station F in Paris and brought together prominent industry leaders, including Dr Ilham Kadri – CEO, Syensqo, Dr Karim R. Lakhani – Professor, Harvard Business School, Paolin Pascot – CEO, Agryco Group and Antoine Ramspacher – Partner Mining, Metals, Chemicals Arthur D. Little, with strategic insights provided by Marouane Ameziane, Managing Director of OCP’s SPS Business Unit, and Roxanne Varza, Director of STATION F. Both highlighted the strategic significance and ambition behind the ChemTechxAI initiative.

The event disclosed the four ChemTechXAI startups selected to lead the programme: Entalpic, Inspek, MicroXpace & Crown, specialised in materials discovery and industry decarbonisation, chemistry processes monitoring, animal health biotech and AI-powered, reinvented procurement.

Additionally, attendees engaged with an interactive exhibition where cutting-edge technologies – including Holofan, micro-mapping and virtual reality – brought to life the hidden potential of phosphate rock in a captivating, museum-style journey.

The event concluded with a networking session, fostering meaningful exchanges among entrepreneurs, industry leaders and researchers.

This launch reinforces SPS’s leadership and vision in pioneering next-generation sustainable chemistry and innovation powered by AI.
