Highfield Resources exploration drilling at Sierra del Perdón and Vipasca confirms presence of potash

Highfield Resources have announced that three recent drill holes, one in Sierra del Perdón, Spain, and two in Vipasca, Spain, have confirmed the presence of potash at grades which confirm the potential of both tenement areas.

SdP-007 intersected 2.4 m of Carnallite at 12.40% K₂O and 2.1 m of Sylvinite at 8.16% K₂O and confirmed the extension of potash mineralisation west of the old Sierra del Perdón potash mines and that the ore sequence remains open towards the southwest.

The Vipasca drill holes confirmed the continued existence of potash mineralisation west of the Muga Project.

V17-02 intersected a total of 52 m of potash mineralisation including:

2.4 m at an average grade of 11.11% K₂O from 743 m;
6.6 m at an average grade of 12.02% K₂O from 788 m; and
1.5 m at an average grade of 13.02% K₂O from 806 m.

Further drilling in Vipasca is in progress and aims to delineate the North-Western extension of the Muga Project.
