Eurotecnica, part of the Proman family of companies, has strengthened its position in high-pressure melamine production technology with two major milestones in China: the signing of a new world scale melamine contract with China Coal Ordos Energy & Chemical Co. Ltd, and the formal acceptance of a 60 000 tpy G5 Euromel® plant delivered to Shaanxi Longhua Group Coal Technology Development Co., Ltd.

Eurotecnica has signed a cooperation agreement with China Coal Ordos Energy & Chemical Co. Ltd for a new 60 000 tpy G5 Euromel melamine plant, marking the fifth China Coal facility to feature the latest generation of its high-efficiency process. The project reinforces Eurotecnica’s leadership in its most important and fastest-growing market and further expands its installed base at a time when global melamine demand is increasing by around 5% per year.

“As we formalise our cooperation with China Coal for a 60 000 tpy G5 melamine plant, we see a very clear vote of confidence in the performance and reliability of the Euromel G5 technology,” said Giuseppe Di Ruocco, Managing Director of Eurotecnica. “We are proud to deliver what our customers truly need: high-efficiency, low-energy and no-waste solutions backed by proven results.”

At the same time, Eurotecnica has successfully completed the first full deployment of its G5 Euromel technology with the final acceptance of a similarly scaled 60 000 tpy melamine plant operated by Shaanxi Longhua Group. Delivered in approximately 24 months from early design to full start-up, the plant has not only demonstrated the low energy consumption that defines G5 performance, but has also exceeded expectations in final product quality.

“It is immensely satisfying to hand over the Longhua project on schedule and to see the G5 Euromel plant surpass expectations in both energy performance and product quality,” added Guido Canti, Commercial Director of Eurotecnica. “This achievement reinforces our commitment to delivering world-class technology to the melamine industry and sets a new benchmark for future projects.”

Through these achievements, Eurotecnica continues to expand its global licensing footprint, with more than 1.4 million tpy of total licensed capacity and over 8 million t cumulatively produced with Euromel technology. As demand for melamine continues to grow globally, these achievements further advance Eurotecnica as the most trusted technology licensor in the industry.
