World Fertilizer,
CP-Pumpen has agreed to supply its customised centrifugal pumps for the world's first Ash2Phos plant to PhosphorGewinnung Schkopau GmbH. The plant is being built in Schkopau, Germany, and is scheduled to go into operation in early 2027.
The facility will be provided with the following pump types:
- MKP
- MKPL
- EB
- ET
CP-Pumpen will supply these pumps while still considering the strictest safety requirements and the highest possible efficiency.
The pumping applications in the plant used to close the phosphorus cycle are diverse and demanding. CP Pumps can serve a wide variety of these applications. This is particularly true thanks to the inverted drive principle of the metallic magnetically coupled MKP pump.
In areas where chemical attack is to be expected and metallic pumps are unsuitable, CP-Pumpen has considered its magnetically coupled, PFA-lined MKPL pump and its EB pump equipped with a double-acting mechanical seal as pump solutions.
These pumps will ensure the realisation of the Ash2Phos plant. Ash2Phos technology enables the on-site production of clean and safe calcium phosphate, suitable for both conventional and organic farming, as well as for use as feed phosphate.
