Grupa Azoty comments on the current situation in the fertilizer market

For several weeks now, fertilizer prices have been on an upward trend in the main global markets. This is the result of several factors – demand, fertilizer availability, and supply logistics. Fertilizers are becoming moderately more expensive both in countries with low and stable production costs and in countries where costs are high and subject to rapid changes.

 
 
 

Alleima is expanding short lead time availability for its nitric acid alloy in the US

As a response to the increasing demand for the nitric acid alloy, Alleima® 2RE10, in the US, Alleima will now make expedited delivery available from its Scranton, Pennsylvania tube production facility. A grade with resistance to corrosion for nitric acid production for industries like fertilizers, explosives, and synthetic fibres.

 

Cornerstone announces deactivation of acrylonitrile unit

Minister MacAulay announces funding to help farmers lower emissions and build resilience

The Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Canada, has announced the expansion of the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF), which will provide an additional CA$300 million to 13 organisations in continuation of their efforts to help farmers become more climate resilient over the next three years.
