According to Reuters, LSB Industries has announced an update on its Pryor chemical facility, Oklahoma, US. On 8 October the plant resumed ammonia production and the company expects the urea plant to resume service by or on 1 November.
The delay in urea production resuming is due to an inspection process being conducted by an authorised inspector.
The company is reported to have said that the downtime is expected to have little effect on the company’s 4Q16 EBITDA.
