The Commerce Department has said it will begin requiring Russians and Belarusians to get a special licence when seeking to obtain a host of goods from US suppliers, including fertilizer and chemicals, and pledged to deny those licences.
The transaction involves the offering by the Iowa Finance Authority of up to approximately US$854 million Midwestern Disaster Area Revenue Refunding Bonds (Iowa Fertilizer Company Project), Series 2022, the proceeds of which will be loaned to IFCo to refinance, together with OCI's available resources, the Iowa Finance Authority Midwestern Disaster Area Revenue Bonds (Iowa Fertilizer Company Project), Series 2013 and Series 2018A and B.
