Acron has been upgrading its existing operations to implement new technologies and switch to process automation. The introduction of the automated control system at NPK unit 1 in 2016 helped improve process stability. By now, most of Acron’s key operations use an automated control system.
On the company’s 50th anniversary, the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Oversight gave Acron its first certificate of honour for excellent process safety management.
“Acron has demonstrated excellent results in running hazardous operations and continues to enhance safety and reliability,” said Maria Nalitova, Industrial Safety Manager at Acron.
In addition, the company’s personnel policy aims to increase employee responsibility for compliance with industrial safety requirements.
