Haver & Boecker Niagara has appointed Steven Dery as Vice President of Sales. In this role, Dery will lead the company’s commercial strategy across North America, helping mining and aggregates customers maximise efficiency through a full suite of equipment, technology and service solutions.

The move correlates with Haver & Boecker Niagara’s strong market growth; and Dery will help build on the company’s recent momentum. New machines, parts and service orders at Haver & Boecker Niagara are up 40% in North America and, to meet this demand, staffing has increased by 10%.

Steven’s strategic vision, customer-focused approach, and strong track record of sales and leadership will drive Haver & Boecker Niagara’s continued growth. Aware that the minerals and aggregates industries are essential to power the modern economy, Dery will leverage the strength of the North American sales team to ensure these sectors are fully equipped to prosper.

“Steven brings a rare combination of strategic vision and people-first leadership,” said Karen Thompson, president of Haver & Boecker Niagara’s North American, UK, Ireland, and Australian operations. “His ability to lead high-performing teams and connect with others both personally and professionally will be instrumental for us to bring even greater value to the customers we serve. He understands how to build trust, lead teams and deliver results — all while keeping the customer at the center. His experience aligns perfectly with our mission to be a true partner to our customers, not just a supplier.”

Dery brings vast leadership experience from the building materials sector from boots-on-the-ground sales to managing national accounts and corporate strategy. His experience fostering long-term relationships aligns with the company’s philosophy that customers aren’t just working with a vendor but are in a lifelong partnership with full service and support.

“There is a reason people stay with Haver & Boecker Niagara — the culture is collaborative, and the commitment to customers is real,” Dery said. “I am excited to help our team and our customers achieve their goals. Success does not come from product knowledge alone — it comes from transparency, trust and truly understanding what the customer needs to succeed.”

Dery holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from McGill University.
