TOYO and Koch-Glitsch have formed a new partnership to distribute TOYO’s innovative energy-saving distillation system, SUPERHIDIC®, to new global markets in Europe and the Middle East.

SUPERHIDIC® provides superior energy savings compared to conventional distillation systems in various industrial applications. With its enhanced Heat Integrated Distillation Column, SUPERHIDIC® has been recognised as the ultimate energy-saving distillation system.

TOYO’s SUPERHIDIC® was selected in 2014 to enhance energy conservation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions at Maruzen Petrochemical Co. Ltd in Japan. The world’s first commercial plant with SUPERHIDIC® technology started operating in Japan last year, with actual energy conservation above 50%.

TOYO’s engineering, design knowledge and innovative technology combined with Koch’s market expertise, industrial knowledge and distillation technology will create sustainable value for customers in Europe and the Middle East. This partnership brings value to customers in refinery and petrochemical fields that are interested in maximising energy savings and output.

TOYO’s decision to partner with Koch-Glitsch to make SUPERHIDIC® available to customers is a result of the companies’ collaboration on multiple successful distillation projects. The high-energy savings realized with SUPERHIDIC® technology are normally not achievable with similar technologies available on the market, making the capital investment justifiable, even with today’s low energy cost. Both companies are committed to helping plant operators improve operational costs in an efficient way and maintain the sustainability of natural resources.
