Kore Potash appoints CFO

Kore Potash plc, the potash development company whose flagship asset is the 97%-owned Sintoukola Potash Project has announced the appointment of Andrey Maruta as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from 23 September 2019.

Maruta is a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant, with over 16 years’ experience in the mining industry including as CFO at Petropavlovsk Plc, which has a Premium Listing on the LSE. Maruta also has worked in the audit function at accountancy firm Moore Stephens International in both the UK and the Russian Federation. Maruta will report directly to the CEO and is not joining the Company’s board.

The current CFO of Kore Potash, John Crews, has decided to step down from the CFO role for personal reasons but will remain available into November to facilitate a smooth transition.
