Martin Engineering announces programme supporting Breast Cancer Awareness

Martin Engineering has released a statement announcing a new programme to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation during October, which is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The company has designed a special series of its Cougar® brand DC truck vibrators in the traditional pink. For each of the limited edition units sold throughout the month, US$50 will be donated by company. The Cougar Cares programme is the latest in the company’s yearly efforts to raise awareness of the disease, and the crucial importance of early detection, helping to improve education and survival rates among all women.

Mark Huhn, Director of the Vibration Products Business group at Martin Engineering, said: “Everyone knows someone who’s been affected by this disease.

“We wanted to contribute to the incredible efforts the foundation has made toward controlling – and eventually curing – breast cancer.”

The Susan G. Komen foundation has played a major role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer since 1982. The foundation has helped to change how to the world discusses and treats the disease, and is helping millions of patients survive. It is reportedly the only organisation that addresses breast cancer on multiple fronts, such as research, community health, global outreach and public policy initiatives, in order to make the biggest impact against the disease.

Cougar DC Truck Vibrators deliver power to improve the speed and efficiency of unloading dump trucks, as well as other mobile equipment. A variety of models are available to suit particular trucks and typical loads. They feature low amp draw and excellent durability, with extended run time enabling faster unloading.
